Yes, amen brother, and thank you. Everything sad is indeed coming untrue. Someday our deepest and forboding fears will be so outshined by the greatness of the Gospel that they will seem frivolous.

Jason,
I hope all goes well for you and your family. Project church is a good church. I hope your leaders take the task and listen to gods plan for this church. I have to tell you that although I did not consistently stick with your church because of several reasons. One of them reason was I was not in the right mind to support such a great cause. you know some of the problems i went through,, with god, family and work.. all in all. god took me by the hair and threw me into the direction he wanted me and my family to go in.
You are a good man. My biggest respects for you on your decision to make family first. I to have learned from our lord jesus that FAMILY is very much important. especially when god is making it that way! I still listen to some of your preachings. from time to time.. anyways.. god bless you and your family.. let us know when your book comes out. i look forward to saying.. HEY.. I KNEW THAT MAN!
best regards
Scott.

Henri Nouwen preaches about being the Beloved. We don't hear this preached and so we spend time doing what you've been doing - doing to be loved. I wish you well on this journey, one I am doing doggy paddle along.

Hi Jason
My daughter has just been captivated by Harry Potter. I have never watched or read any of the series, as they were considered 'a no no' in my Christian circles. That was a few years ago before I was a parent. So with much trepidation, we have watched 1, 2 and 3 (sorry can't remember all the titles). It amazes me that Christians would be so up in arms about this and yet girls watch Barbie into oblivion. What Barbie teaches about body image, ambition, beauty, heart is further from a life filled with the spirit. So for now, she can watch HP and we can talk about it.

Great post! After undergoing brain surgery to rid myself of 5 tumors, I have a large scar from one side of my head to the other. My hair is now growing back, but regardless of what I do I'll never be able to "hide" what has happened. I was teetering on whether or not I should grow it out to cover, or leave it short (my normal length) and wear my scars with pride. Your post helped aide in my decision. Thank you!
