The Jesus Sessions
Starting Easter Sunday, our church is starting a new journey.
We’re exploring the Gospel of Matthew.
Backwards.
Starting in chapter 28.
Ending in chapter 1.
We’re calling it, “The Jesus Sessions.”
It’s funny to call a series, “The Jesus Sessions”
As if we have any other kind.
We don’t.
The way of Jesus is counter-cultural.
Backwards to conventional thinking.
The last are first.
The first are last.
Stuff like that.
And it begins with the resurrection.
A new beginning.
A new hope.
A new life.
This is the true and radical story that changed everything.
I pray it will change us as well.
Gee! I wish there was a podcast somewhere where I could listen to these so called “Jesus Sessions”!
